ANOTHER VALENTINE DAY

They say time flies, and it does, depending on your expectations. My question is, why hasn’t Covid 19 flown away with time? This is 2022 and I expected that the world will wave Covid bye-bye last year. Maybe it’s packing it time to pack All its belongings to leave so it won’t need to come back to pick up any forgotten item!!
Enough of Covid!
It’s Valentine’s Day(Feb 14th), a day to celebrate love, give love, and accept love.
My worry today, is that young innocent girl who will be offered a piece of chocolate( nicely wrapped of course!)or some innocuous that will turn out not to be so innocent after all!
Too many innocent girls have fallen for that bait and lost their virginity to that boy who today, will make her feel that “ making love” today is the right thing to do! What he means is
“ having sex”, is an act that has Nothing to do with “love “ but a lot to do with hormones!
The results vary. Some may end up with teenage pregnancies or worse still, contact some diseases that will end up negatively affecting their lives or families.
Hopefully, with education, young men and women will be more careful and protect themselves.
If you are a young girl and you are reading this, knowing the fact that a boy wants to have sex with you does not necessarily mean he loves you. There are other ways to show he cares.
You can see a movie with friends or entertain yourself at home with other friends or family members.
A tall order, you’ll say, but it’s doable.
The advice is also for young boys. You won’t be the only culprits luring young girls to have sex today. You might be the victim! So belt up ( no sagging!) and take that special girl to the movies and have some popcorn!
If you like her, show her some respect and save it for the right time. When is the “right time”?
