A 40-year-old man was wrongly sentenced to jail for 35years over an attempted murder of a burglar.
A lone armed robber attacked his house and was almost successfully carting away many valuables. The man quickly took a knife and threw at the criminal. The object hit the criminal’s head and he bled seriously but managed to survive.
Two weeks after, the criminal sued the man for attempted murder, hired eight Senior Advocates and he won the case.
The man had to serve 35years jail term. He was, however, granted state pardon after serving 28years in prison.
Upon his release, the media had these question to ask him:
Media: What do you call one lawyer thrown off a bridge into a river?
Man: Pollution.
Media: What do you call all the lawyers thrown off a bridge?
Man: Solution.
